The liberal army enters Lisbon.
Following the taking of Olhão and Tavira and the defeat of the squadron loyal to Miguel, the military forces led by the Duke of Terceira move onto Lisbon, which they enter without encountering any opposition.

The news is reported by the Constitutional Chronicle of Lisbon and by the Constitutional Chronicle of Porto in the Supplement to no. 174 of the Constitutional Chronicle of Porto, 26 July 1833, Friday edition:

Illustrious and Excellent Sirs – I hold the fortunate task of announcing the great news as regards the arrival of the Queen’s Troops in Lisbon; which took place this morning following an Action, in which the Duke of Terceira sent the enemy troops packing, commanded by Telles Jordão, on the left bank of the Tagus (…)
