The news was reported in the Supplement to no. 195 of the Constitutional Gazette of Porto, 19 August 1833, Monday edition:

Illustrious and Excellent Sirs – I hold the fortunate task of announcing the great news as regards the arrival of the Queen’s Troops in Lisbon; which took place this morning following an Action, in which the Duke of Terceira sent the enemy troops packing, commanded by Telles Jordão, on the left bank of the Tagus (…)
