Miguel dissolves the Chamber of Deputies
The news was reported by the Supplement to no. 66 of the Lisbon Gazette, 17 March 1828, Monday edition:

OFFICIAL SECTION.

Ministry of Affairs of the Kingdom.

With the immediate convening of a Chamber of Deputies currently impractical, in substitution of that Which Was Dissolved by the Decree bearing the date of today for such reason that the Regulatory Law on elections is not yet passed, and the Dispositions ordered be observed by the Decree of 7th August 1826 are recognised as defective in effect, as practice has thus proven: I Deemed for the best, in the Name of the King, to Derogate the aforementioned Decree of 7th August 1826, and Order the immediate advancement with the organisation of new Instructions (…)
