HRH the King, my Master, is informed of the resolution of HRH the Prince Regent of Portugal, that your Excellency notified me of in his note of 13th of this month by which HRH deemed for the good the elevation of the State of Brazil to the dignified status of Kingdom and to unify it to those of Portugal and the Algarves in order to compose one and only political body with everything in conformity with the Royal Charter of 16 December last, of which I send your Excellency a copy.
